Quake and Tsunamis Kill Over 11,000 22,000 125,000

I'm sure everyone has heard about the 9.0 magnitude earthquake and its tsunamis by now (details, later). It's tragic, and I don't have much to add other than to say that this sort of thing is less likely off the coast of California because here our faults lie under dry land rather than under the ocean.

Still, a person who can afford to would be wise to move away from fault lines entirely, as well as away from hurricanes, tornados, and other sorts of natural disasters.
