Maybe I'm living in my own little right-wing bubble, but I see a substantial chance for McCain to win the election. I'll even go so far as to predict a McCain victory. Am I naive or delusional? You make the call.

My coworkers think I am delusional too. They want a McCain win. But they think that I am crazy to think it will happen.

Looking at is on the TV and the papers, it looks like McCain ought to stay home and not even bother. Intrade has pretty conclusively fallen on the BHO side of things. I thought THAT was the end-all-be-all of prediction markets. I though it has never been wrong (When a stock is priced above 70 or below 30).

Don't get me wrong, I'd like McCain to win as well. But I gotta ask: What evidence do you see that makes you call it for McCain in the face of all this 'evidence' to the contrary?

The major media has already picked our president. Now is the time where all those polls that indicate that most people don't believe/trust the major media will come into play.

This is interesting. I have avoided getting wrapped up in political discussions and analysis ever since I read "None Dare Call it Conspiracy" which is a book that basically tells us elections are used to give us all a false sense of power so we don't actually do out in the world and DO anything. We get all engrossed in the ridiculous drama of what candidate like this or prefers that or has a history of supporting the other. In fact, bigger puppets pull the strings. Well whatever I think. What would you want during a year when the economy is being shot to hell? DRAMA! Boy do we have it in spades this year. Now guess which candidate WINNING would cause the MOST drama? YOU GOT IT -- OBAMA! If Obama DOESN'T win at this point you can bet there will public outcries of foul play and explosions of inner city violence to make the Rodney King riots look like a tupperware party. SO ON THE THEORY THAT PRESIDENTIAL ELECTIONS ARE PRIMARILY TRULY CONDUCTED TO DISTRACT...GUESS WHO IS MORE LIKELY TO WIN TO DISTRACT US FROM A LOOMING GREAT DEPRESSION OF 2009? You got it. McCain. I got my Obama sticker in my window. Do you?

OK now I realize I should have previewed my last entry for clarity. What I'm basically saying is MCCAIN is probably going to win if for no other reason that if he does then RIOTS will occur that will continue to DISTRACT us from more important national problems. I have my OBAMA sticker in my window because I'm a chicken shit and don't want my car trashed when the riots come through if McCain wins. Who do I like best? Who cares!
