I love my Nintendo DS Lite. It is super-rad. At the moment the only DS games I have are Brain Age 2 (which came with the system and got old fast) and Etrian Odyssey (which is extremely fun). I've also been buying Game Boy Advance games off eBay for a few bucks a pop, and they're fun too. The NDS is the best system I've seen in a long time, and I'm very glad I bought it.

The comment login system is acting strange. If you get an error message saying you aren't logged in when you are, just reload the comment page and try again. I'm trying to track this bug down, but it's not easy.

Heh, I told you you'd like it. Pick up a Pokemon GBA game--they're actually good RPGs, if a bit silly because they're aimed at kids. I'd recommend Fire Red or Leaf Green, which are remakes of the original game, because they have an in-game help system you can call up by hitting L or R. I frequently use it in combat as a refresher for the type matchups--no way I'm going to try to remember a 17x17 sparse grid, and this means I don't have to keep a little piece of paper with me. :) Mario and Luigi Superstar Saga was another decent RPG. If you like the original Super Mario brothers games from the NES/SNES era, you should like the DS game New Super Mario Brothers. Kirby games aren't bad. Castlevania games can be fun, but the weapons have lags that annoy me. However, there's like 3-4 GBA ones and 2 DS ones, and if you like one you'll probably like 'em all. Again, Final Fantasy Tactics Advance rocks--the class system is really great, and the way it works is like nothing else, in a good way.
RC: Yeah, I picked up FFTA on ebay for $10, kinda expensive. It's a lot of fun though. I think I'm going to get one of the more recent Castlevania games also when I have a chance.
If you got FFTA for $10, it wasn't expensive, you got a good deal. Most good games, even used, unfortunately still cost a significant fraction of the new price. I think places like Gamestop are propping the price up to keep their profit margins high.
