The doors on my house have old knobs with deadbolts built into them. The knobs are old and I'd like to replace them, but all the doors have only a single bore and I don't want to drill new holes for deadbolts. (They're storm doors, and very hard to drill.) However, I can't find the hardware I need because I can't figure out what this type of door know is called! Google searches for "door knob with deadbolt" just turn up sets containing standalone knobs and deadbolts. Can anyone tell me what these knobs are called or where I can buy some? Maybe they just don't make them anymore.
Please help me find out what this is! Read the extended entry for pictures.

Could you just go to an old fashioned locksmith shop? do they have any in the area? They'd probably could point you in the right direction.

As funny as this might sound, post a pic of your "knob", so can see what it looks like.
Pics posted! Help me find out what this is.
Take the knob off and go to a hardware store (ACE or True Value should do just fine). I wouldn't be surprised if they bring you something off the shelf to meet your needs. It *looks* like you just need to unscrew two bolts to take out the knob.
TML: I've taken it on and off before, that's no problem. I just haven't been able to find anyone at a hardware store that knows what it's called or where I can get another one!
It looks like an everyday knob. It doesn't seem like it would be out of production.
What is the brand of it? I guess one option would be to contact the manufacturer directly and see if they are still around.
If it is a brand still around, can you still keep the deadbolt part while using a new knob and key set? Or, can you retrofit the key set into a new knob?
