I'm sorry you feel that way. While it's true that political victory is essential, the retirement of Rummy shows the integrity of the President and adds to the proof that we are living in a time that history will look on favorably. It‘s the people who screwed up by choosing “Cut and Run” over “Stay the Course”. That fact that Winston Churchill was thrown out on his ass after the big one does not diminish his greatness. It only shows how stupid those limies were.

I highly doubt Rumsfeld would've been pushed out if the Republicans hadn't done so badly in the election.
And I reject, wholly, the notion that Iraq is a black-and-white choice between "Cut and Run" and "Stay the Course" and that the American people have chosen "Cut and Run". Of all the foolishness to come from neo-conservatives, that takes the cake.
