In light of the recent terror threat in the UK, what does everyone think about the trip my wife and I are planning next week that will fly us from St. Louis (STL) to Baltimore (BWI) on Southwest? Any new danger that wasn't there before? Should we make the trip, or cancel it?

Make the trip, just allow more time for boarding.
Don't lose your balls now. If anything show them d*mn terrorists you aren't scared. Don't buy into the fear. Don't let them win.
Or you can take the train. ;)
Make the trip. There isn't enough fuel on that plane to make it a worthwhile target. LAX to BWI, yeah. STL to BWI, no.
Phelps: The recent threats have just been to blow planes up, not crash them into buildings.
STL to BWI a threat to fly? That is laughable...maybe you should worry about getting hit by a meteorite first.
Yeah... I'm not sure that the terrorists even know where St. Louis is. I mean, they don't drink, so they won't know it because of Anheuser-Busch.
You have to live your life..when its your time, its your time. Security at US airports is a joke. See the security in Europe and there is a huge difference. Just go and don't worry about what might happen. Its still safer to fly than it is to drive.
I have a business trip scheduled (coincendentally from BWI) for Monday. I will probably go, but I have to admit I was thinking of cancelling it yesterday, not out fear, but because I dreaded the extra aggravation. I was in St Louis on business on 9/11 (had to drive back) and traveled a fair amount in the wake of it and I really don't look forward to dealling with the extra security. You have to decide it the extra aggravation is worth it. That said, don't make you decision based on fear, but on a realistic assessment on whether the trip is worth more than the extra time and aggravation that is going to be associated with air travel for the next several months (or longer).
Just as an aside, the dealbreaker for me will be when they start banning iPods and portable DVD players. I can deal with packing my hair gel, but I am not flying from Baltimore to San Diego without my iPod.
