So I'm here in Tennessee with my wife visiting her mom and I'm totally exhausted from the trip and the busy afternoon we've had touring the Southern middle of the state. The flight was nice, and the countryside is absolutely gorgeous. I feel very relaxed and at peace, which is nice, and I've come up with some great ideas for a new book I'm going to start fleshing out. I'm looking forward to a few days of rest, so don't expect much more here than a few pictures when I have a chance to upload them.

My ex used to live in Murfreesboro before moving back up to WI. I've been to Tennessee once with him, but I wouldn't consider its countryside, etc. any more "gorgeous" than Wisconsin's.
Wisconsin's nice, but TN is far more beautiful.
Hmm.. I disagree. Where have you been in Wisconsin?
Nope, Tennessee is God's Country so all other areas must pale in comparison :)
(course I've lived in East Tennessee for 39 years)
Welcome to the Volunteer State, Michael!
The area within driving distance of Chicago..Milwaukee? Also, have friends who live there and have lived there...consensus is that it's nice but doesn't take the win for most beautiful state in the nation.
Wyoming, Colorado, Montana, Georgia, Tennessee and Missouri are the most beautiful places.
Oh, I agree that Wisconsin can't hold a candle to certain places in Colorado, Wyoming, and Montana.. but Tennessee? Any day.
.. and Milwaukee is not a good standard by which to judge the rest of Wisconsin.
I saw that you have a page that discusses patent-related resources at http://www.mwilliams.info/archives/006891.php. I wanted to suggest adding www.freepatentsonline.com to the page. This web site has free PDF downloading (instead of having to page through TIFFs like at the US PTO). It is by far the best free patent searching site.
