The wife and I were just out for a walk and we saw the strangest thing: six to ten parachuters falling from the sky trailing red, white, and green smoke. They were approximately over the intersection of Sepulveda and El Segundo Blvds, though it was hard to say for certain since we were pretty far away and they were up in the sky. At first we thought it was strange to see sky-divers so close to LAX, but once I recognized the colors of the smoke we realized it was just a stunt to generate more animosity towards illegal immigrants.
My cell phone doesn't have a camera so I wasn't able to take pictures... but at least I could call the police.
