There are now more than 11 million illegal immigrants in the United States, but that figure is misleading!
The number of illegal immigrants in the United States has grown to as many as 12 million, and they now account for about one in every 20 workers, a new estimate says. ...It is difficult to accurately measure the number of illegal immigrants in the United States, but most public agencies and private groups had settled on a figure of about 11 million.
The Pew Hispanic Center used Census Bureau data to estimate that the United States had 11.1 million illegal immigrants in March 2005. The center used monthly population estimates to project a current total of 11.5 million to 12 million.
Why is the number even higher than that? Because none of these groups include illegal immigrants who were granted "amnesty" during any of the past waves of immigration "reform". Most significantly, President Reagan granted amnesty to more than 3 million illegal immigrants in 1986. Meanwhile millions of law-abiding people wait in line for years to enter our country legally but have to be turned away because their places have been taken by these criminals.

I'd call bullfeathers on the stat of illegals being one of every 20 workers.
That would mean there are 240 million total workers in the US workforce, out of a total population of less than 300 million.
Brad: That is only if you assume that all 12 million illegal immigrants are workers. Clearly, the number of illegal immigrant workers is much smaller than that.
This is kind of funny....
