Why does someone need PC133 memory so badly at 11pm that they're willing to drive 50 miles to pick it up and aren't concerned that it might not work? Strange.

I would have to say.... Gamers. Battlefield is a memory hog and so are many of the new ones. Someone needed a fix :)
6K: I could see that being the case if the desired memory was DDR or DDR2... but PC133? That's P3-era memory.
