I finally managed to see the video. Those girls aren't five; several of them stood up and they had breasts. I'll bet they're all at least eighteen.
I thought it was hilarious.
Recently I've heard several people express distress over this video... but these girls are a super popular J-Pop band, and they are well cared-for...

They are never in any real danger from the lizard, trust me -- they're too valuable. They work and audition really hard to be part of the group, and they are incredibly pampered and well-paid. This clip was from a show that is sort of like 'Reality TV,' in that the girls from the band go around doing strange, fun, and interesting things, and a camera crew follows them, filming them being cute.
Don't be afraid for them, it's a gimmick. Just a highly amusing and bizarrely foreign style of gimmick.
And to answer Glenn directly: I didn't search for this video, it just came up in the 'popular' tab after I hit 'refresh' a few times.
That's why I like to call it , "The Universe Of Japan!!!"
I was there recently and saw a Squid Race on the streets of Tokyo. So many fond memories.
