It's interesting... so many things in nature are either beautiful or create beauty... but are also dangerous and potentially life-threatening.
The fault lines in California have given California some magnificient mountains and elevations.. spawning the ecological variety inherent to such terrain.. but are also responsible for significant infrastructure damage and end up claiming the lives of many people.
