In my never-ending quest to become the internet's number one betta destination, I bring you this simple question: is it weird for a person to fill their bathtub with room temperature water so they can swim with their bettas?

Only if they are underage.
Yes, it is weird. However, if you're actually going to do it, make sure you let the water sit for at least a day so the chlorine level is reduced and the fish can survive. Unless, of course, that's not a concern.
Michael, why do you have to ask if bathing with fish is weird?
If you wanted to swim with fishes, you could probably find a place to go snorkeling or something. Unless, that is, the idea is to be naked with the fishes, in which case I really can't help you.
I feel really creeped out about someone being in a bathtub with fish, so for my sake, please don't.
I wasn't asking for my own sake! I don't even own any fish.
*snort*
Yes. Yes it is.
Not that there's anything wrong with weird.
I'm sorry, I thought "swim with the fishes" had a slightly different connotation.
You know why the mob had Einstein killed?
Why, because he knew too much.
In a neverending attempt to conform to the current touchy feely state of the nation, I will accept you for who you are, regardless if I do not understand. Should you choose to swim naked with your fishes in the comfort of your own home and in the privacy of your own bathtub then I will accept you and your decisions. You have no reason to feel ashamed of your choices, rather you should seek out others amongst your peers and begin the process of educating all of us as to your plight and how you have had this desire all of your life and am now coming to grips with it out in the open. Perhaps we could pass legislation that one should be allowed to marry the same fish that they swim with. (in their own tub of course)
Yah, well... shouldn't the animal rights nuts be having a say concerning the welfare of those poor fish? You know... they're as smart as deer and chickens. PETA says so. That's abuse, that is.
