I think Kim du Toit is right on as far as shooting burglars goes, but I take issue with his off-hand snipe at Dr. Seuss as a girlie-man! In fact, the esteemed artist whose real name was Theodore Geisel drew many anti-appeasement pieces in his day, including my favorite World War 2 cartoon:
