Digger reports that aid worker Margaret Hassan has been murdered on video. This is why I don't feel too bad about questionable killings on the battlefield -- the people we're fighting are monsters, and deserve no quarter. We may, in our mercy, decide to restrain ourselves -- but for these things morality hardly requires it.

This just shows the blurring of nationalities (Western vs. Arab)in the War on Terror as terrorists now do not care what ethnic background one is from. Hassan's death more clearly defines the true battle of Good vs. Evil. Hassan was Iraqi and working for the people of Iraq, yet the terrorists murdered her anyway. It's shameful and embarrassing to have any part of my bloodlines even remotely associated with that region at this point.

It is not a blood problem, it is a terrorism problem.

DD: Don't be ashamed, there appear to be plenty of honorable Iraqis who are trying to rebuild their society... it's just a few dead-enders who are trying to undermine the process.
