People in Los Angeles watch the traffic the way normal people watch the weather. The only time we're distracted from the condition of the 405 is when we actually have weather. Of course, everyone drives the same in the sun or in a monsoon, which can lead to accidents....

I was just nearby on Friday going to a surprise party for one of my friends who goes to your school. It wasn't too bad then, but I remember how your main street there floods waist-high.
What do those dots represent? Are the yellow ones slow downs and the red ones accidents?
Here in MN we just got green/yellow/red arrows to show slow/slower/crawling traffic speeds. LA is way ahead of us.
