Here are two shining examples of why it's stupid to trust Democrats with your money. They don't even know how to handle their own money!

First, California Democrats are raising funds for post-election challenges of the recall.

Setting the stage for a post-election legal challenge to the recall vote, Democrats are set to launch a national fund-raising campaign today to help pay for any legal action needed if Tuesday's election on Gov. Gray Davis' future is close.

Seeking to avoid what they called "another Florida-style fiasco," the state party and a national Democratic group called Democrats for America's Future said they hope to raise $100,000 to place poll watchers around the state Tuesday and to help with post-election legal challenges that may come up.

"We're preparing for every possibility," said Peter Ragone, communications director for Davis' anti-recall campaign. "There's a lot at stake here. We want to make sure every voice is heard."

Newsflash: the election isn't going to be close. Personally, I expect the recall to pass with 65%-70% of the vote, and I wouldn't be surprised if Arnold gets a majority. Plus, "we want to make sure every voice is heard" is Democrat code for "we want illegal immigrants and dead people to have a chance to vote for us". Naturally, no one should be surprised that the Democrats are eager to fall back on the courts when it's obvious they're going to lose at the ballot (after all, Gore went to court first in Florida in 2000), but this just goes to show that they aren't serious about fiscal responsibility.

Second, Drudge links to report that Al Gore is looking to finance a left-leaning cable news channel. Rush Limbaugh has mentioned this several times in the five minutes I listen to him each day, so I didn't know this was big news. I am, however, surprised that anyone would actually put up money for such a venture. Left-wing talk radio is almost non-existent -- other than the publicly-funded National Public Radio -- and for good reason: no one wants to listen to it.

The current crop of left-leaning cable news stations are all getting beat like a rented mule by Fox News, and it's hard to imagine that going even farther left will really do much to pull in a new audience. It's possible that a far-left news station will draw viewers away from the many mildly-left networks, but considering that at times there are more people watching Fox than all the rest put together, it doesn't seem like a wise investment to me.

The left will rise again and teacj a valuable lesson. If we do not learn form history we are doomed to repeat it.

The right wing is no different than Nazi Germany for too many reason to go into detail such as: control of the government, military police, fervant nationalism, control over finance and regimenting industry. Nazis were anti-union as are the Republicans, they also nationalized the health care industry and turned it over to corporate control (IG Farben subsidiaries) - Medicare.

No left wing media will rise up as soon as the right wingloses its control over the media. Their propagnada war, including your web site are all you have left, albeit a strong grip on the minds of Americans whereever there is free uncensored media the people see and hear the truth and ask us Americans to right th eship and change the course of history which by the way things are shaping up will be WWIII.....

have a good day you pirate of democracy
