Best of the Web has a piece about anti-semitic Democrats that supports my earlier argument that Senator Lieberman will not be able to win the Democrat nomination because he is Jewish.

um joe lieberman won't win the nomination for a lot of other, more prominent reasons in the minds of voters.
have you seen the guy campaign? voters who care (primary voters) shouldn't have anything to do with him. he's a terrible politician, barely a democrat, and flat out not presidential material by any party's standards.
blaming his non-nomination on anti-semitism is insane... even if that were true about all democrat voters, it's the least compelling reason not to choose him to go up against bush.
It's certainly not true about all Democrat voters, and I never claimed it was. But it is true about many of the core Democrat constituencies, such as many blacks. Most left-wing Democrats are also rather anti-Israel. I linked to quite a lot of evidence here.
There are a lot of reasons why Lieberman won't win the nomination, but I think you're wrong to think that his Jewishness isn't among those reasons. I also disagree with you as far as his presidential ability: he's the best of the current lot, and would make a better president than any of the other Democrats in the field right now.
Ridiculous. Lieberman won't win because he's ugly, short, and really a republican, which I imagine is why you would prefer him to any of the other Democratic candidates.
Hehe... good job Mike 2.
I see your point about international anti-Semitism being a problem, but you can't honestly assert that "racist Blacks" control the Democratic party any more than you can say that the Jewish lobby controls the American government at large.
Your argument, while irritating enough to get you attention and traffic, is lacking in real analysis. Basic attention to the primaries shows that even if Lieberman held the same ideologies in Al Sharpton's body, he'd not get the support of Democratic primary voters, for the reasons Northover and I both gave.
I didn't say that "racist Blacks" or any particular group controls the Democratic primaries, but apathy or approval from the major fringe constituencies are required for a Democrat to get nominated.
I'm not trying to be irritating, to get attention, or to get traffic. I'm pointing out that there's lots of evidence for something I said a while ago, despite you mocking the idea.
